Barn Owl on Branch

This is a taxidermy mount, many clients like the pose as it show the wings.

We have approximately 4,000 barn Owls in this country and 3,000 are run over by the general public each year, I found this a most shocking amount and they just hang on due the to amount that successfully bread each year. Keep old trees for them rough areas if you live in a converted barn add a nest box....
